Description

Registered Nurse - Med/Surg ICU - Days (Contract)

Location: Pella, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

Collaborate with the healthcare team using evidence-based practice to provide safe and optimal patient outcomes.
Promote continuity of care through effective communication with interdisciplinary team members and patients' families.
Direct support staff in the provision of care.
Perform general nursing duties with critical thinking skills and minimal supervision.
Provide care for age-specific populations including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Iowa.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
