MRI Tech - Radiology
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Description
- Work as an MRI Technologist in a busy hospital setting known for trauma and pediatric care.
- Operate GE MRI equipment.
- Perform MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast imaging.
- Typical hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Rotating weekends required.
- Dress code: Black scrubs.
Unit Information
- Staff on unit: Approximately 9 (day shift example: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
- EMR system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must be MRI registered
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Breast MRI preferred.

- Rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities may be part of the schedule.
