Job Opportunity: Rapid Response Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location
- Denver, Colorado
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 6 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 4 or 5 shifts per week, each 10 hours
- On-call: 2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend (rotating schedule)
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Unit Information
- Interventional Radiology department with 5 IR suites
- Patient ratio: 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN per shift
- Equipment includes Siemens Bi-plane and Single plane imaging systems
- Electronic Medical Records systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months (0.5 years) of current Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- ARRT RT (R) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Knowledge or training related to the risks of hazardous drugs according to USP standards
- Competency in Rapid Response procedures and protocols
