Description

Job Opportunity: Rapid Response Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location

Denver, Colorado

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 6 weeks

Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
4 or 5 shifts per week, each 10 hours
On-call: 2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend (rotating schedule)
Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Unit Information

Interventional Radiology department with 5 IR suites
Patient ratio: 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN per shift
Equipment includes Siemens Bi-plane and Single plane imaging systems
Electronic Medical Records systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Required Qualifications

Minimum 6 months (0.5 years) of current Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
ARRT RT (R) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Knowledge or training related to the risks of hazardous drugs according to USP standards
Competency in Rapid Response procedures and protocols
