Description

Job Opportunity: Stepdown Cardiac Nurse

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Care for post-operative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in a surgical step-down unit.
Patients may be 17-24 hours post-op or fresh post carotid endarterectomy, femoral endarterectomy, endovascular AAA repair from PACU.
Unit specializes in post-cardiovascular surgery care.
Strong experience in Cardiac Telemetry required.

Shift Details

Day shift
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Total 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown nursing.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring.
