Description

Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Oncology Infusion RN
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Facility Type: Outpatient clinic
Charting System: Epic (Excellian)
Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
Scrub Color: Navy
Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
Block Scheduling: Accommodated
Locals: Not accepted within 100-mile radius
Pending License: Accepted
Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty; on-call hours do not count toward guaranteed hours

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
Oncology nursing experience
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
No weekend shifts required
No on-call required

Clinical Responsibilities / Special Requirements

Administer infusions for all oncology diagnoses, gastrointestinal/genitourinary diagnoses
Manage OB fluids, nausea/vomiting regimens
Administer research protocols, migraine protocols, antibiotics
Experience with BCG, cystoscopy, intrathecal chemotherapy

Additional Notes

First-time travel nurses are not accepted
Return-to-Office (RTO) restrictions ideally no more than 5 days
