Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Jupiter, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

• Work schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Takes call
• Rotates weekends with staff
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology with Interventional Radiology focus
• Neuro experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT-R certification
• BLS certification

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred/required as applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Other certifications may be required depending on role specifics (e.g., medication competency exams)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Standard background check including 7-year residential/work/school history and nationwide sex offender search
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting mandatory if no prior clearance)
• Automatic disqualification for felony, misdemeanor (including DUI/DWI), or controlled substance violations

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 6 months to 1 year of start date
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start (new contracts only; may be completed onsite if not available)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (2-step TB skin test or equivalent within 3 months acceptable)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity (titer or vaccination) for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccination series, or declination with negative titer)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
• COVID-19 vaccination proof required prior to start (dose 1 and fully vaccinated status; exemptions accepted with proper documentation)

Documentation & Other Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency contact form required prior to start
• Facility-specific documents and health stream modules to be completed during initial downtime
• Parking registration form completion required
• Drug screening: 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant acceptable)

References & Experience Verification

• 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
• Skills checklist required annually
