Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Therapy

Location

• Mountain Home, Arkansas

Employment Type

• Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Option of 5 days with 8-hour shifts or 4 days with 10-hour shifts (Tuesday to Friday for 10-hour shifts)
• Day shift (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) for 4x10 schedule

Caseload

• Single booked, 45-minute visits
• Approximately 10-13 patients per day depending on shift length

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Arkansas
• Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience
• Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year

Certifications and Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• Background checks within 1 year, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG (annual)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific protocols for past positives)
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Annual Skills Checklist
• Professional references:

  • 2 for travel, allied, or per diem acute care
  • 1 for per diem non-acute care (within 3 years of start)

This position offers an opportunity for both local and travel SLPs with pediatric experience to work in an outpatient therapy setting with a consistent 40-hour workweek and a manageable patient caseload.
