Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Therapy
Location
- Mountain Home, Arkansas
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Option of 5 days with 8-hour shifts or 4 days with 10-hour shifts (Tuesday to Friday for 10-hour shifts)
- Day shift (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) for 4x10 schedule
Caseload
- Single booked, 45-minute visits
- Approximately 10-13 patients per day depending on shift length
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Arkansas
- Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
Certifications and Licenses
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Emergency Contact Form prior to start
- Background checks within 1 year, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG (annual)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific protocols for past positives)
- Immunization or titer proof for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella (Chicken Pox)
- 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- Annual Skills Checklist
- Professional references:
- 2 for travel, allied, or per diem acute care
- 1 for per diem non-acute care (within 3 years of start)
This position offers an opportunity for both local and travel SLPs with pediatric experience to work in an outpatient therapy setting with a consistent 40-hour workweek and a manageable patient caseload.
