Description
Registered Nurse - Step Down / Intermediate Care
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm - 7am)
Job Description
- Care for intermediate medical patients including high-risk respiratory, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery patients.
- Manage patients requiring respiratory support ranging from room air (RA) to BIPAP or Optiflow.
- Work with a variety of patient populations in a step-down/intermediate care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Pulmonary/Thoracic specialty.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
