Clinical Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Battle Creek, Michigan
Job Type
- Contract
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide direct nursing care to participants, working independently with advanced nursing knowledge.
- Manage complex clinical situations and collaborate with licensed and non-licensed personnel.
- Perform triage of emergent situations.
- Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with Primary Care Providers (PCPs).
- Utilize care plans to provide clinic and home-based direct care.
- Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed.
- Conduct regular home visits for wound care, lab draws, nurse assessments, and other nursing tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with geriatric patients in a long-term care setting
