Description

Clinical Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Battle Creek, Michigan

Job Type

Contract
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide direct nursing care to participants, working independently with advanced nursing knowledge.
Manage complex clinical situations and collaborate with licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Perform triage of emergent situations.
Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with Primary Care Providers (PCPs).
Utilize care plans to provide clinic and home-based direct care.
Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed.
Conduct regular home visits for wound care, lab draws, nurse assessments, and other nursing tasks.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working with geriatric patients in a long-term care setting
