Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery (Travel)
Location: Hudson, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview
- Level II Trauma Center
- Bed Capacity: 309
- Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Number of Beds: 12 suite OR, 2 CVORs
- Staffing: 2 CVORs
- Shift Coverage:
- Day Shift: 4 RNs, 4 CSTs
- Night Shift: On call
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Description
- Primary focus on Cardiovascular Surgery including procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
- Main OR experience required with willingness to float to main OR.
- Flexible and team-oriented personality preferred.
- Scrub nurses preferred but not mandatory.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Variable call schedule
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Minimum 5 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
