Description
Registered Nurse (PCU) - Nights
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Provide nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit (PCU).
- Serve as the primary nurse in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting.
- Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with PCU experience within the last year.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (approx. 8,000 ft elevation).
Additional Information
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
- Housing costs are high, especially in winter; typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in nearby towns (Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs) is around $3,500/month.
- Not accepting any Return to Office (RTO) candidates.
