Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Orthopedics

Location: Tampa, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Orthopedics Radiology
  • Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Weekend Hours: None
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Patient Population: Adult orthopedic patients including adult reconstruction, foot/ankle, spine, hand, and upper extremity cases
  • Patient Volume: 50-70 X-rays per tech per day
  • Equipment Used: Sedecal X-ray equipment
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic and GE PACS
  • Float Requirements: Must be available to travel within the western region
  • Candidate Eligibility: Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Experience with C-Arm for injections

Preferred Qualifications

  • Orthopedic radiology experience preferred

Work Environment & Culture

  • Collaborative team environment
  • Dress code: Scrubs only (any color acceptable)
  • Facility has 16 beds/rooms

  • Supported by specialists in neurosurgery, musculoskeletal radiology, anesthesia, interventional pain, and hospital-based internal medicine
