MRI Technician
Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Details
- 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
- Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Monday shift: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Work locations include Lee, NH and main campus in Dover, NH
- Experience with Philips imaging equipment and Epic software required
- Local candidates will not be considered
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New Hampshire
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (MRI) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic software
Required Credentials and Compliance
- Professional license and certification primary source verification within 30 days of start date
- N95 Respirator Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
- TB screening: negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months (special rules for Wentworth Douglas location)
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists) within 30 days of start, updated annually
- New Hampshire state-specific criminal background and BAAS checks within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >30 days
- Education verification of highest level achieved
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in skillset
- Confirmation of assignment form required for initial assignment and extensions
Additional Notes
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to assignment
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test
- Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name
- Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment and new facility submissions
