Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Arlington, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Provide in-patient rehab occupational therapy, including neuro and orthopedic patient evaluations and treatments.
  • Perform acute care evaluations and treatments in orthopedic, telemetry, and ICU settings.
  • May float to antepartum/gynecology units as needed.
  • Documentation system used: Meditech.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas (no temporary licenses allowed).
  • Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience, including within the last year.
  • Certification as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR).
  • Experience in a Rehabilitation setting.
  • BLS certification.

Work Environment & Policies

  • Dress code: Hunter green scrubs required.
  • Nail policy: Clean, healthy nails only; no artificial nails, gels, or enhancements.
  • Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
  • Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed.
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; uncovered body art will be addressed individually.
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings).
  • Attendance policies follow company-wide standards.

Additional Information

  • Call requirements to be discussed during the interview.
  • Floating to other units as needed.
  • Candidates without the required skills will not be considered.
  • Preferred candidates have 2-3 years of rehab and/or acute hospital experience.

This position is a travel assignment in occupational therapy requiring strong clinical skills in both rehab and acute care settings.
