Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Opportunity

Location: Walterboro, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Primarily night shifts, 12-hour duration
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

• Work as a Respiratory Therapist on a 135-bed hospital unit with 2 RRTs per shift.
• Unit uses equipment including 840 and 980 ventilators, V60 and V30 BiPAPs, and Airogen devices.
• Documentation is done via MediTech system.
• Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
• No floating required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Skills and Procedures

• General respiratory skills including ventilator management, breathing treatments, arterial blood gases (ABGs), BiPAP setup, and oxygen delivery.
• Advanced skills: vent maintenance and settings, assisting with intubation, walk tests.
