Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekends as needed
• May float to other facilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Current NBRC certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Must carry a valid government-issued photo ID during assignment

Certifications (as applicable)

• ACLS (AHA only) required if working in Emergency Department
• PALS and NRP required only for Neonatal ICU specialty (not applicable here)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting in a similar specialty area

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search) required before start; must be updated if break in service exceeds 2 months
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start; must be completed before onboarding and badge issuance
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years clinical acute care experience relevant to the assignment
• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required

Health and Safety Requirements

• Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start confirming ability to safely perform job functions
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 12 months of start; must be updated annually
• Negative 2-step TB test or equivalent within 6 months of start; annual renewal required
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (titers or vaccinations; boosters required if titers negative or equivocal)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start; annual renewal required
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31); no declinations accepted

Training and Onboarding

• Completion of facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours) prior to start; must be done on a computer using Chrome browser
• HIPAA and safety manual acknowledgements required annually
• Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start; annual update required
• Unit-specific skills checklist required; must be updated annually
• Badge photo required prior to start

• All work history, including any previous assignments at this facility, must be included in the application profile
• Scheduling and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview
• Candidates may be required to float to other facilities within the system as needed
