Travel Contract (13 weeks)


Unit Information

  • Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
  • Setting: Level 3 NICU in a tertiary care and teaching facility with Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center designation and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Equipment used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Floating policy: May provide coverage on adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technologies and medication delivery
  • Perform respiratory therapy procedures in NICU/PICU settings
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
