Description
Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Easton, Maryland
Contract Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: June 29, 2025
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Rotating Night/Evening shifts (primarily night)
- Hours: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts accepted
- Shift Times: Night (19:00–07:30), Evening (15:00–03:30)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Floating: Within specialty and sister ED facilities as needed
- On-Call: No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
Patient Population & Work Environment
- Fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Patient Age Range: All ages (infant to geriatric)
- Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4, can be up to 1:5 with lower acuity
- Patient Diagnoses: Wide variety including complex cases across all systems
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications (must have or complete during onboarding):
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
