Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

• Virginia, Fredericksburg

• Travel assignment

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours
• Includes every other weekend

Unit Information

• Unit: Respiratory
• Number of beds: 140
• Patient population: Adults and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
• Equipment used: Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1 ventilators
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Dress code: All black scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• NBRC certification
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Experience working with adult patients
• Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP

Skills and Experience

• Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilator
• Experience working with adult and neonatal patients
