Description

Respiratory Therapist - Cardiopulmonary (Contract)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Details

Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
No guarantee of hours
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday
Flu vaccination required or approved medical/religious exception prior to contract start

Responsibilities

Provide continuous airway management
Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilator support (PB 980, PB 840, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent)
Perform physician consulting and CPR
Deliver all aspects of respiratory care
Use computerized charting and Pyxis medication management

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Additional Information

Must have Hawaii license by start of assignment
Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption required before contract start
