- Unit: Cardiopulmonary
- Floor: 4th
- Patient Ratio: 7:1
- Staff on Day Shift: 8-9
- Equipment Used: Crossvent, Airvo, Bunnell Jet, Drager VN500, Hamilton G5, Evolve Nitric Oxide, Pneuton, Oscillator A
- Floating Areas: Adult ICU, Floors, Level 2 NICU, Level 3 NICU, Level 4 NICU, PICU, Pediatric
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- NBRC certification
- NRP certification
- PALS certification
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS certification
- Adult respiratory therapy experience
Typical Procedures
- Intubations
- Surfactant administration
- Delivery experience
Work Schedule & Policies
- Must be clocked in and ready for report by 6:37 AM / 6:37 PM
- Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Dress Code: Gray monogrammed scrubs
