Unit: Cardiopulmonary
Floor: 4th
Patient Ratio: 7:1
Staff on Day Shift: 8-9
Equipment Used: Crossvent, Airvo, Bunnell Jet, Drager VN500, Hamilton G5, Evolve Nitric Oxide, Pneuton, Oscillator A
Floating Areas: Adult ICU, Floors, Level 2 NICU, Level 3 NICU, Level 4 NICU, PICU, Pediatric

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
NBRC certification
NRP certification
PALS certification
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Delivery experience

Preferred Qualifications

PALS certification
Adult respiratory therapy experience

Typical Procedures

Intubations
Surfactant administration
Delivery experience

Work Schedule & Policies

Must be clocked in and ready for report by 6:37 AM / 6:37 PM
Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Dress Code: Gray monogrammed scrubs
