Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend required

Job Description

• Work primarily on a Medical-Surgical unit with some post-op orthopedic and general surgery patients.
• May occasionally float to ICU to care for Medical-Surgical overflow or Step Down patients.
• Patient ratio typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7.
• Unit has 361 beds.
• Electronic Medical Records systems used: Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System.
• Scrubs color: Royal Blue.
• Floating is required but rare.
• No call required.
• Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated if specified in the application.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Start date: ASAP.
• Travel assignment with maximum 13-week duration.
• Must be able to work night shifts and every other weekend.
• Floating to other units as needed, including ICU and Step Down.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
