Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)
Location
- Wichita, Kansas
- Unit: Intermediate Care (37 beds)
- Floor: 3rd, Main Entrance building
Unit Details
- Staff per shift:
- Day: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk
- Night: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs
- Patient ratios:
- General: 1:6
- Heart Cath patients: 1:4 (estimated, not guaranteed)
- Equipment used: PCA pumps, IV pumps, Chest Tubes
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
