Pharmacist Inpatient - Travel/Contract

Location: Centerville, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Coverage across 5 infusion centers in the region, Monday through Friday, no weekends required.
• Typical shift hours vary by location, generally starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM and ending between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
• Work setting preferred: compounding pharmacy.
• IV compounding experience is required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required; EPIC Beacon experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Ohio.
• Pharmacist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
• IV compounding experience.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Additional certifications such as PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, CPI are not required for this role.
• Unit-specific competency exams must be current within 2 years.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam is not required for pharmacy specialty.

Documentation & Compliance

• E-Verify compliance required prior to start.
• Education verification must be primary source verified.
• Employment application and current resume required.
• Two professional references from within 2 years required; at least one must be a manager/supervisor. If references are unavailable, a 1-year work history verification is required.
• Skills checklist must be updated annually and within 1 year prior to documentation due date.
• Annual health questionnaire and candidate agreement must be completed prior to documentation due date.
• Medical questionnaire for respiratory protection must be submitted prior to orientation.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Shift example: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Additional Notes

• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with initial application; no RTO changes after offer. Approval is at manager discretion.
• Fingerprinting is not required for this role.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
