Description
Certified Surgical Technician
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 4 shifts of 10 hours each
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Certified Surgical Technician position in the Operating Room.
- NBSTSA certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA or NCCT).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Additional Information
- No fit testing (initial or updates) can be done onsite; must be completed prior to start.
- Positive TB skin test requires a negative chest X-ray after the positive test.
- Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
