Physical Therapist (PT) - Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description

• Evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop treatment plans aimed at helping patients regain mobility and independence.
• Assist patients with improving independence in daily tasks such as standing from a chair or climbing stairs.
• Lead and direct the delivery of physical therapy services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Work primarily with a diverse patient population including orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, both short-term rehab patients and long-term care residents.
• Utilize various modalities and equipment to provide effective therapy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri.
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• Experience in Long Term Care settings.
• Experience in Rehabilitation settings.
