Dietician - Nutrition (Travel Position)

Location: Tomball, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Type: Med Surg, Women’s, Psych, Inpatient Rehab
Number of Beds: 350
Number of Registered Dietitians on Staff: 3
Shift Times: Day Shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Night Shift not specified
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: Expanse, Meditech
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Description

Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments
Conduct diet education and calorie counts
Comfortable performing Nutrition Focused Physical Exams
Work independently with a friendly demeanor

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in Texas
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) within the last year

Additional Information

Rotating every 4th weekend on call schedule
Typical work environment includes multiple inpatient units with diverse patient populations

This position is ideal for a dietitian comfortable working independently in a hospital setting with a focus on nutrition assessments and education.
