Job Opportunity: First Assist (CST/ORT)
Location
- Salt Lake City, Utah

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (36 hours per week)
- On-call: Every third weekend and every third weekday (rotating)
- Weekend call rotation every third weekend
Unit Information
- Cardiac Operating Room with 2.5 CVORs
- Procedures commonly performed: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, aorta repair (open and endovascular), thoracic surgeries
- Floating area: Main OR
- Scrub attire provided by hospital
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certification required: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C
- BLS certification
- Surgical First Assistant experience
- Surgical technologist skills assessment or knowledge of hazardous drug risks per USP 800
