Dietician - Nutrition (Travel Position)

Pearland, Texas

Unit Information

Unit Type: Acute Care (49 beds)
Patient Load: 10-12 patients daily
Shifts: Day Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
EMR System: Meditech
Floor: 1st - Kitchen area
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Responsibilities

Perform Nutrition Assessments
Conduct Nutrition Focused Physical Exams
Participate in ICU Multidisciplinary Care Rounds and Medical-Surgical Care Rounds
Work independently within a multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

Valid RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) license in Texas
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with at least 1 year of experience, including recent experience within the last year
Registered Dietician (RD) or Licensed Dietician (LD) certification
Dietician Certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Comfortable communicating with multidisciplinary teams
ICU experience

Additional Information

Must adhere to a 72-hour nutrition assessment policy
