MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work scheduled according to facility policy, including every other weekend and holiday rotation with hospital employees.
• On-call shifts Friday through Sunday, 8 PM to 7 AM, every 4-5 weekends.
• Unit: MRI, located on the 1st floor of the main hospital building.
• Facility is a Level 2 Trauma and Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center with 321 beds.
• Equipment includes GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI machines.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Dress code: Gray scrubs required.

Procedures Performed

• MRI/MRA of Brain, Abdomen, MRCP, Spine, Upper and Lower Extremities, Cardiac, Breast, Orbit, Liver and Adrenal Mass, IAC Brain, Brachial Plexus, Spectroscopy, MRA Neck, Soft Tissue Neck.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
