Description
Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health (Pediatrics & Adolescents)
Location: San Angelo, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care exclusively for pediatric and adolescent patients aged 5-17.
- Prior travel nursing experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Behavioral Health nursing experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Prior travel nursing experience required.

- Background checks and license verifications must be uploaded with appropriate expiration dates as per facility and agency requirements.
- Some certifications may have a grace period for longer-term assignments; check with recruiter or facility for details.
- Facility may provide on-site options for certain certifications if not currently held (e.g., NRP Advanced Provider).
- Pass/fail remediation offered same day if needed during orientation testing.
This position is ideal for experienced pediatric/adolescent RNs with prior travel nursing experience seeking a 13-week contract in Texas with day shifts focused on behavioral health.
