Description

ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract) - Columbus, Ohio

Job Summary

Position: Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (ICU)
Shift: Weekend Day shifts, 3 shifts per weekend, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Float to various ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including:
- Neuro ICU
- Surgical ICUs
- Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
- Cardiology/Diagnostics
- CVICU
- SICU / MICU / NCCU
Float Policy: Must float within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Experience with telemetry monitoring
Ventilator management experience
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
