X-Ray Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Canton, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Note: Shift may be changed to 4 days of 10 hours if needed.

Contract Length

• Approximately 4 weeks (28 days)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
• ARRT(R) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (Instructor or Provider; RQI acceptable)

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties

Background Checks & Compliance

• Background check required prior to start, including:

  • FCRA-compliant 7-year search (SSN trace, counties, states, nationwide, sex offender, OFAC, FACIS Level 3, education verification)
  • No pending or active criminal cases
  • No multiple misdemeanor convictions within last 7 years involving drug abuse, theft, assault, or sexual acts
  • No felony convictions within last 7 years (measured from release date)
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signed contract; results must be current and updated annually

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• MRI Techs do not require Ohio radiology license, but this is an X-Ray Tech role requiring ARRT and Ohio license
• Physical exam does not need annual update if currently on assignment without break
• Latex allergy notification required if applicable to ensure availability of latex-free gloves
• Modules and onboarding must be completed prior to clearance to start; delays in module completion may delay start date
