Description
MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Akron, Ohio
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule:
- Fridays: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (mix of inpatient and outpatient)
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (mostly outpatient)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide MRI technologist services primarily on weekends and Fridays with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
Additional Notes
- Physical exam does not need to be updated annually if there is no break in employment at the facility.
- Latex allergy notification required if applicable to ensure availability of latex-free gloves.
- Fingerprint results may take up to 30 days to process; plan accordingly.
- Travelers must complete all onboarding modules before clearance to start; modules typically take multiple days.
- Traveler’s legal name must be used consistently in all documentation and onboarding systems.
- References from co-workers are not acceptable.
- If a traveler has a break in employment longer than 6 months at this facility, re-orientation and module completion may be required.
