Wound Care Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Wound Care
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days/week, 40 hours/week)
Facility Type: Acute Care, Teaching Hospital, Level 3 Trauma
Total Staffed Beds: 317
Charting System: Epic (Excellian)
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Weekend Requirement: None
On-call: Not required
Floating: No floating within scope
Block Schedule: Accommodated
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 100-mile radius
Pending License: Accepted
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days off
Epic experience: Required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of wound care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN)
Experience with Epic charting system

Additional Information

Parking: First day free parking in Blue Ramp; subsequent day/evening shifts require paid parking ($16.67 or $27.10 per 2 weeks depending on lot)
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty; on-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum
References: Not required for client clearance and will not delay start
Drug Testing: Not required for client clearance; 9-panel acceptable if done within 1 year
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
