Description

Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location

  • Savannah, Georgia
  • Unit: Angiography-Interventional Labs / Vascular Operating Room
  • Procedural area with 6 procedural rooms: 2 Angiography suites and 2 vascular ORs
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Scheduling: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with call coverage required
  • Floating between OR and Angiography units

Job Type

  • Travel assignment
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Environment

  • Staffing includes unit secretaries, 2 techs, 2 RNs, CST, anesthesia, residents, and attending physicians
  • Documentation system: EPIC
  • Call coverage ratio less than 90%, but call needed for potential open cases
  • Dress code: Royal Blue and Black uniform

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year

Skills and Experience

  • Highly adaptable candidates with vascular surgery experience
  • Advanced skills not specifically required beyond vascular surgery expertise
