Description

Registered Nurse – Pediatric Transplant (Travel/Contract)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
Holiday Coverage: As needed
Float Requirement: None

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an outpatient clinic specializing in pediatric pre/post liver transplant, small bowel transplant, and hepatology.
Support patient care coordination including labs, imaging, phone triage, and communication with the multidisciplinary team.
Position covers a 6-month maternity leave.
Local rate within 60 miles of the facility.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of transplant experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience working with pediatric patients.
One completed travel assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
