Description
Registered Nurse – Pediatric Transplant (Travel/Contract)
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
Holiday Coverage: As needed
Float Requirement: None
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in an outpatient clinic specializing in pediatric pre/post liver transplant, small bowel transplant, and hepatology.
- Support patient care coordination including labs, imaging, phone triage, and communication with the multidisciplinary team.
- Position covers a 6-month maternity leave.
- Local rate within 60 miles of the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of transplant experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- One completed travel assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
