MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Aventura, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit: MRI
• Number of Beds: 467
• Staff on Unit: 2 MRI Technologists (1 day shift, 1 night shift)
• Equipment: GE Explorer 1.5 Tesla MRI
• Documentation Systems: Meditech, GE PACS
• Call Requirements: On call after 11 PM and 24-hour rotation on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) among the team

Typical Procedures

• MRI scans including Neuro, Body, Musculoskeletal (MSK), Angiography, and Breast imaging

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT MRI Registry Certification (ARRT MR)
• Florida State License in Radiology Technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Additional Preferences

• Ability to work independently
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• The department is ACR accredited and recognized for providing exceptional patient care
