Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Job Requirements & Expectations
- On-Call: Required to work 3 call shifts per month.
- Block Scheduling: Must be willing to work block schedules.
- Floating: Position does not float between units.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Background Checks:
- Must have a background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years.
- Background checks must include SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, education verification, and motor vehicle record if applicable.
- Background checks updated annually.
- Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start date required. Instant tests acceptable.
- Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work with or without accommodation.
- Immunizations & Health Requirements:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination accepted.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted.
- Hepatitis B – vaccination series or signed declination; specific rules apply for Alaska placements.
- Varicella – 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted.
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or declination accepted.
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow masking policies.
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for travel candidates; involves virtual questionnaire reviewed by healthcare professional.
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required.
Additional Compliance & Training
- Epic Training: Completion of Epic modules required within a week of orientation. Transcripts must be submitted.
- Annual Regulatory Training: Required annually via Workramp LMS for all caregivers.
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other specialty-specific competency exams may be required.
- Skills Checklist: Must be updated annually for applicable units.
