Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Alabaster, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 17:30)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Call only
• Call Requirements: 1 weekend every 4th weekend plus at least 1 weekday call per week
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Unit Size: 4 Cath Lab rooms
• Equipment Used: Philips X-ray, Merge HEMO Charting
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) procedures is a plus

Work Environment & Culture

• Patient Population: Cardiology patients in Cath Lab setting
• Dress Code: Scrubs only (Ceil Blue or Navy)
• Unacceptable Attire: Anything other than scrubs
