Description

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 labs and approximately 10 cases daily.
  • Procedures performed include LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
  • Use equipment such as GE X-ray and documentation systems Maclab and Meditech.
  • Scheduling requires 7-9 call days monthly, including at least 1 weekend.
  • Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
  • Advanced skills needed in emergency medication knowledge.
  • Scrubs are provided as the required uniform.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
