Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery (Travel)
Location: Conroe, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Unit: Surgery
Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: 10
- Patient Ratios: 1 nurse / 1-2 scrubs per room
- Scrubs provided as dress code
- Call rotation required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Skills
- Cardiovascular Operating Room (CV OR) experience is mandatory; candidates without this skill will not be considered
Additional Information
- Typical staffing example (day shift): 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
- No additional required certifications beyond ACLS and BLS
- Floating assignments may be required
- Unit policies and guidelines apply as per facility standards
