Echo Tech Travel Position
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule options:
- Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Or five 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Occasional weekend day shifts and on-call hours (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) may be required
- Unit: Echo Lab
- Patient population: Adult
- Typical patient volume: Approximately 8-9 echocardiograms per day
- Equipment used: Philips Ultrasound, GE Clinical Works
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Sunrise (Allscripts)
Typical Procedures
- Echocardiogram (Echo)
- Stress Echo
- Transesophageal Echo
- Contrast Echo
- Echo with Bubble Studies
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Echo Technician experience
Work Environment
- Staff on unit: Approximately 12
- Dress code: Scrubs
Additional Notes
- Candidates without RDCS and RCS certifications will not be considered
- Preferred skills beyond required certifications may improve candidacy but are not specified
- Occasional on-call and weekend shifts expected
