Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Largo, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (06:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
Weekend/on-call required (approximately 1 weekend per month and 10-15 on-call shifts per contract)
On-call shifts: Weekday/weeknight on-call from end of shift to 6:30 AM next day; weekend on-call is 24 hours
Floating within specialty and general OR as needed based on case volume
Holidays required as scheduled

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
Minimum of 3 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery within the operating room setting
