Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Med-Surg (Night Shift)

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit caring for COVID patients.
• Occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• No call requirement.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Stepdown nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.

Additional Information

• Start date is fixed (July 20th) unless the RN is a returning traveler within the last 9 months.
• Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; canceled hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
• Agencies must ensure contract details (start/end dates, RTO) exactly match the confirmation page to maintain vendor status.
