Description

Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit and Facility Overview

Operating Room in a 343-bed hospital
Patient ratio: 1:1
Surgical equipment used; documentation via Meditech system
Set schedules with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (based on availability)
No floating except rarely for COVID-related situations
Designated Level I Trauma Center, equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24/7
State-of-the-art Pediatric Emergency Room
Multiple accreditations including trauma, stroke, cardiac, maternity, cancer, and more
Friendly, team-based culture with staff experience ranging from new graduates to over 30 years
New graduates are welcome
