Surgical Tech - OR

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Neuro / Spine
  • Shift: Day (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: On call
  • Call Requirements: Evenly distributed by coordinator
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Unit: Main OR
  • Number of Beds: 24
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Equipment: Operating Room (OR)
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner

Required Qualifications

  • Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
  • Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
  • Vascular Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DaVinci surgical system
  • Experience with Maxillofacial procedures

Work Environment & Dress Code

  • Scrub Color: Ceil blue or royal blue
  • Unacceptable Attire: Fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and nail polish are not allowed
