Description

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (Travel/Contract)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Unit: Neuro Intensive Care Unit
Shift Options:
- 3 shifts of 12 hours (Day: 07:00–19:30 or Night: 19:00–07:30)
- Straight nights available
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Charting System: Cerner
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Float Requirement: Must float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
Scrubs: Not provided; any solid color without hospital logos

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia (pending license accepted but must have license in hand before start)
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Successful completion of EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
