Description
Registered Nurse - Ortho (Travel/Contract)
Location: Maryville, Tennessee
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 07:15)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Floating to like units may be required based on skill set.
- Weekend coverage every other weekend (subject to change).
- Medication system used: Omnicell.
- Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience.
- Prefer candidates with experience in teaching and community hospital settings.
- Not accepting first-time travelers.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of orthopedic nursing experience within the last year, including orthopedic surgery experience
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
