• 10-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week

Job Summary

• Perform PET/CT imaging with dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process.
• Interpret physician orders and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Work in various settings including outpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital-based facilities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Train new technologists and patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Dual certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Computed Tomography Technologist through NMTCB or ARRT (NMTCB or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT)).
• State licensure as applicable; New York requires dual licensure for both Nuclear Medicine and CT Technologists.
• Minimum of 1 year of PET/CT imaging experience.
• Valid state driver’s license if local travel is required.
